Moved Away: Kickapoo Road Schoolhouse

Most of the other images in my Moved Away series are melancholy, lonely. Not this time. I pass this schoolhouse each year when I drop the kids off at 4-H camp. It’s empty, but not lonely. Historic peacefulness?

    My grandma taught in a schoolhouse just like that one! Hard for me to tell in the photo but hers was made from the golden Kansas limestone.
    Saw this and thought you might enjoy it.
